Seven Hills Bioreagents

In these Terms and Conditions, 'Seven Hills Bioreagents' is a trade name of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3039. The Terms and Conditions set out below shall apply to Seven Hills Bioreagents (CCHMC).

Placing orders

All orders are subject to availability. Prices of products do not include taxes or shipping and handling. Orders can be placed online or by email, phone, or fax.

Price and other information provided are subject to change without notice. While every effort is made to keep information provided by Seven Hills Bioreagents up to date, Seven Hills Bioreagents will not be liable to you or anyone else if errors should occur in information provided on this website.

So that Seven Hills Bioreagents can process your order please include all of the following information:

  • Your Purchase Order Number (unless you are paying by credit card)
  • Name, phone number and email address or fax number of the purchasing officer - so that we can confirm details of the order
  • Name, phone number and email address of the researcher
  • Product catalog number(s) and description(s)
  • Special shipping requests.

If you wish to confirm in writing an order placed by phone please clearly mark the form with ‘CONFIRMING ONLY’. You will be sent an email confirmation of your order, indicating that your order has been received. When your order is shipped, you will also receive another email that will include your FedEx shipping confirmation number.

Invoices must be paid no later than 30 days after the invoice date, and Seven Hills reserves the right to assess a 1.5% monthly late charge on account balances over 30 days.

Shipping

Antibody Products: Within the continental U.S., antibody reagents contain 0.01% sodium azide and are shipped at room temperature by FedEx Standard overnight, unless otherwise requested. All orders shipped outside of the continental U.S. will be lypholized prior to shipping. Products are generally shipped within 24 hours of order acceptance. Orders received after noon on Thursday or on Friday will be shipped on the following Monday unless otherwise requested. Shipping and handling charges are prepaid and will be included in the invoice. Orders shipped using ice packs are subject to an additional $25.00 handling charge.

Adenovirus Products: Products are generally shipped within one week of order acceptance. Adenovirus products are shipped overnight on dry ice using FedEx Overnight. Shipping and handling charges are prepaid and will be included in the invoice. Orders shipped are subject to a $75.00 shipping and handling charge.

Receipt of products

Packaging and products should be inspected immediately upon receipt. Notification of damage, shortages or defects should be given immediately by e-mail or fax.

Return & replacement policy

Quality is important to Seven Hills Bioreagents. If a product does not perform as described on the datasheet, a replacement or refund will be offered. Please notify us within 30 days of delivery. Failure to promptly notify Seven Hills Bioreagents of a problem will constitute an acceptance of the product.

If items are ordered incorrectly by the customer, Seven Hills Bioreagents will consider taking them back. This will normally be subject to a restocking charge on the items plus any shipping, handling & packaging costs. Requests for returns must have prior authorization and must be made within 7 days of receipt of the items. Items must be returned in the same or equivalent packaging as originally dispatched by Seven Hills.

Product use limitations

All Seven Hills Bioreagents products are "FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR DIAGNOSTIC, THERAPEUTIC OR ANY IN VIVO USE IN HUMAN SUBJECTS"

Seven Hills Bioreagents will not be liable for the misuse of products. Seven Hills Bioreagents cannot provide a guarantee for all applications for which a specific reagent may be used.

The Materials purchased from Seven Hills Bioreagents shall not be transferred to anyone other than employees or students working under immediate control and supervision of INVESTIGATOR, and shall not be made available to any other persons within the INSTITUTION or elsewhere.

Seven Hills Bioreagents will not be liable for its failure to perform any of its obligations resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Seven Hills Bioreagents will notify its customers as soon as practically possible after it becomes aware of deficiencies in a product supplied. Any claim relating to products shall be limited to replacement or refund of original purchase price paid, which is the only remedy available against Seven Hills Bioreagents.

SEVEN HILLS BIOREAGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE (UNDER CONTRACT, BY NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER WAY) FOR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS OR THIS AGREEMENT AND SEVEN HILLS' TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE IN RESPECT OF THE PRODUCTS OR THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE PRODUCTS.

General

Contracts and agreements with Seven Hills Bioreagents shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to the principles of conflicts of law thereof.
