HNF-3/forkhead homologue-4 (HFH-4), a transcription factor of the winged-helix/forkhead family, is expressed in ciliated epithelial cells of the lung, trachea, oviduct, and embryonic esophagus, and in ependymal cells lining the spinal column and ventricles of the brain.
